I just did landscaping earlier this year and am wondering how big my plants will get and if my landscaping will eventually look “full” all around my house. Here are the plants:

-right side are Annabelle hydrangeas. I actually planted those last year
-left side are panicle hydrangeas I believe (just planted this year)
-tree is a blue arrow juniper
-shrubs on the side of the house are boxwoods (Chicagoland I believe, planted this year)
-there is one more panicle hydrangeas behind those that was also planted this year

Would be great to get your thoughts. Thanks!

You’re going to want to move that juniper; it’s way too close to the foundation. It will also get tall enough to allow rodents to climb up and get into your attic.

The hydrangea will get pretty full, you’ll be cutting them back in a few years so they don’t become overwhelming.

Everything looks like it’s planted too close to the house and the beds are too narrow. But yes, the plants will fill in just fine.
Bring the beds and plants out a little further from the house while everything is still easily transplantable though.

Yes, I’d move everything out about 2 feet further though
