How to do direct composting on you new garden bed.

Dig a rectangular trench about 8 to 10 inches deep.

Add dry or green leaves, kitchen scraps, and other green garden waste.

Backfill with soil and repeat across the garden bed. In 6 to 8 weeks, it’ll be nutrient-rich and ready for planting
