Hi from South Korea. I admittedly know nothing about plants, and have a bit of a black thumb. Someone threw these away in the local trash area, so I quickly took them because they look like they’re still in good shape.
1) what are they?
2) can they live indoors? It’s getting cold and we have harsh winters with snow. I live in a house with a lot of sunlight. Sometimes too much sunlight.
3) any advice on how to keep them healthy?watering?
4) should I cut off those yellow and brown leaves?
Thank you!!!

Looking at the random pattern of leaves dying, I think it might have some pests … leave them, or maybe just take those nice looking pots 🙂 …. Anyways , inspect it carefully before u take them in with other plants
Nope leave them. Not worth the time and bugs to take them in.
Two on the right are Dracaena Carmens That look heavily sun burnt. They are also over watered, which causes the brown tipping on the ends of the leaves. Both of which are salvageable. Put them near sunny window ( the window itself filters out a lot of UV rays, which makes it indirect ) and only water when the soil is dry all the way throughout the bottom of the pot.
Be sure to spray for pests on any new plants you bring home – especially ones you find in the garbage
OP here. I should add that it is unlikely that they were thrown away because they have pests. People move out of this area constantly because it’s a student area, and it cost money to throw things away, which is probably why they put it outside the way they did in the garbage area, because it’s likely to be taken by other people who are interested in it. Although I called at the garbage area, it’s actually not full of trash. It’s an area for discarding things like furniture.
You can save them all but this is advanced plant care. Step one is a massive shower and getting insecticidal soap. Id replace all the soil and rinse what is on the roots off. Then spray the entire plant including roots with that soap. Not normal soap obviously. Then you cut off everything brown. Then you find a solid space in your house with good light for them. The two on the right are dracaena. The left one maybe schefflera but I don’t know.
