Great work by all the guys competing today. The trees turned out amazing for the short amount of time they had yo work on them, especially considering the room full of distractions. Good job everyone.

Number one would get my vote. That branch on the left bothers me though. Other than that its really nice. Number two is probably my runner up. Really nice tree, I just find the overall silhouette of 1 nicer and I also like the fine branch wiring on 1. That being said 2 is a solid tree and could take the first spot. 3 is also nice, looks a bit long though. I would like to see a bit more trimming on the length of the lower branches, tighten up the overall silhouette. Still a really nice tree. 4 is beautiful and has a graceful appearance. LOVE the twin trunk personally. Too my eye the canopy doesn’t look finished. Looks like it could be tightened up a bit. Dont love the jin and shari of 4. 5 is really cool and i like the vision of the overall tree, personally I think the jin clashes a bit with the overall balance. Still really nice work. 6 looks like they ran out of time to me. Awesome and brave decision. Nice execution and wiring. Just looks like they ran out of time and didnt finish the canopy. Just my personal opinions. Would love to here what others think.

I like #2, nice curve and minimal carving, and especially the amount of foliage left on and the branch angles.

The others have way too much dead wood (aside from 4 which I also like.)

Shoutout to #5, it immediately caught my eye. I think the jins may have benefitted from a year or two with wire to enhance their line and interest, but within the confines of a single styling I really dig how much interest was added to this tree.

I think the shari on 4 is much too wide. Really like 1-3.
