Urgent help! I got it now at the supermarket, I couldn’t leave it there!
It was in bad shape, very dry, and almost all the leaves were broken! Please, I need to know everything about what it needs and then tell me what to do with the leaves! Should I repot it or not, given the trauma it suffered?
Give it a few days to acclimate then repot it to succulent soil with lots of drainage, lots of light

You should try propagating the leaves. Then you’ll end up with multiple!

Cotyledon tomentosa leaves usually have a pretty low propagation success rate (they prop better from cuttings with stem tissue). Definitely worth a shot since they already fell off anyway, but don’t be too discouraged if they fail. To propagate, just throw them on some dry soil and leave alone until they root.

nice … if it was me there I would have snagged one of those dropped leaves to propagate (not if it would have worked but I would have tried)

I mean, they’re not wrong. All that leaf fall is the stuff of nightmares!

From my experience bearpaw leaves don’t propergate very well, the stems with a leaf tend to give better results

Water then let dry, repeat. Lots and lots and lots and LOTS and as much light as you can give it. Mine thrive under a grow light. I have both varigated and non-varigated bear paws. I love them!
