The Mummy is one of the six pets in Grow a Garden that can be hatched from the Spooky Chest.

Both the Mummy and the Spooky Chest were released as part of the Harvest Reaper event in Grow a Garden. And while you may be on a quest to collect all of the pets, this particular pet grants bonuses when receiving new pets when you own a Sarcophagus in your garden.

Tier: Divine
Obtainable: Yes
Spooky Chest: 1% chance
Hunger: 88,000
Trait: Grants extra weight to pets hatched with Sarcophagus in garden.

How to get the Mummy

To get the Mummy, you’ll need to get hold of a Spooky Chest which is sold by the Spooky Seeds shop in the Spooky Market. The odds are quite low, with just a 1% chance of hatching a Mummy.

Getting your hands on a Spooky Chest doesn’t require too much investment, but considering the drop rate of the Mummy, you’ll probably end up needing a number of chances at the pet to be within the chance of getting the Mummy.

As such, you need to keep earning Candy Corn, which you can do by taking part in any of the Halloween event activities, be it filling up the Witch’s cauldron, completing quests for the Dead Tree, or donating the right crops for the Harvest Reaper.

Mummy traits

The Mummy is going to be a great pet if you’re looking to buff up the other pets you have in your garden. This is because, so long as you have a Sarcophagus in your garden, any pets you receive from chests will have a higher base weight applied to them.

So if you’re looking to get better results when getting new pets, the Mummy might be a pet you’ll want to have around in your garden – just be sure to get a Sarcophagus first (which can be purchased for Candy Corn from the Devilish Decor cosmetic stall, also in the Spooky Market).
