A friend found him discarded in a parking lot still with his bulb but no roots. I’ve water propagated him and he now has multiple two inch roots. Planted him today but I’m still unsure what it even is aside from an alocasia. Don’t mind my repotting mess.

looks like a frydek to me
I think it could be a frydek but I am no expert. I will say that the pot is likely way too big for that little guy. They can be overwatered and get root rot pretty easily so having them in a pot just a tiny bit bigger than their root ball is usually your best bet.
Giving some stingray traits, maybe a mutant.
The blade is too smooth for a Frydek. Looks more like a Longiloba. I have both here, photo of the young leaves in comparison.

You guys mean Micholitziana Maxkowskii (Green Velvet), not Micholitziana Frydek (has variegation). The leaves “might” be too smooth for a Green Velvet, but I put a pic of one of my baby corms that sprouted on here because it didn’t look like one but everyone said it was just too small to have all the characteristics yet.

Could be a longiloba🤨
