
First ever reddit post… seems like a good place to start! What is the best way to trim this and start a new propagation? Just cut it straight across at the desired height? Bought this guy in the Walmart check out aisle a couple years ago and it is obviously thriving. Have already repotted twice, but we are out of vertical space lol.

Beautiful, you can prune or chop anywhere you want.
I have 2 that are over 10 feet tall. Not sure where to keep it over winter. I may have to chop too.
Needs to be pruned to promote branching and thicken the trunk – it’s incredibly thin for a Ficus this height. Prune at least halfway down, any higher and branching would both look weird and cause the plant to be too top heavy. Remove the stakes
