Although the late Myron Kimnach reduced this one to the variety of Echeveria pulvinata in 2017, many researchers and collectors do not agree with Kimnach's decision. The chromosome counts of the two species are quite different; the former n = 23 and the latter n = 38.

OMG it looks like kitty ears
I always wondered what the brown stuff is on the hairy Echeveria. Is it stress related or sunburn?
