Great presentation!
I only grow sugar snap. Every now and then they’re good from the store, but they’re definitely better fresh picked. Shelling peas are delicious but they’re so much work! If you don’t catch them perfectly, then they’re starchy and not too sweet. I’ve heard they can be planted now, even in cold climates, and they’ll just hang out til soil warms in spring. I want to do this, and I have in the past, but we have so many vermin around and I worry that they’ll find them and steal them.
What fertilizer do you like to use on the peas as they're growing?

Good morning Brian, I am zone 8 in Georgia, can I grow peas now? It happened to have even 11 degrees or 17 but not always! I would love to be able to! Have a blessed day ❤
I prefer to grow sugar snap peas because I feel like I get the greatest volume of edible peas with the least amount of work (I don't see myself spending the time needed to shell the peas). My dilemma is knowing when is the right time to harvest them, I tend to leave them on the plant too long and the peas get a bit starchy.
