I’ve seen worse, honestly. And it looks like there’s more than one monstera in that pot, which explains why it’s so root bound. I would start with separating the plants. You can cut the roots or you can gently untangle them. Once entangled, pot them up in their own pots, roughly 1-2in larger than the root ball. And use a chunky soil mix. I like to do one bag of Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil to two to three bags of orchid bark mix and combine in a storage tote. Use as needed for repotting plants.

I bought one like this around February of this year. There’s 3 in the pot. I literally moved it from an 18-inch pot to a 12- inch then jumped to an 18-inch pot within 3 months. I added a 4 ft metal trellis to the 18 inch pot and it’s thriving. The queen of my collection š
