I've never seen this happen in a non-var. plant, but my musaica is unfurling this partially white leaf, but I have a feeling it's a deficiency and not a mutation or something neat.
I do struggle (but am DETERMINED!) with Calathea, but I adore them more. How can I make her happy?
She gets 12 hours of Barrina T8's white/pinkish lights, is in a good, well draining soil, I fertilize with a 3-1-2 NPK at half strength (will be changing it though to a balanced 10-10-10 fert. with kelp at .25 strength).
She looks fantastic otherwise. I'm just concerned about that leaf and WHY. THANK YOU!

How often are you watering? I get this sometimes and I *think* it’s from under watering.
