Less pickings and not as good prices, but what you guys think?

1st tree (pics 1 – 3)
Shishigashira but the leaves don’t look too shishi. Price: $299.99 – 50% off = ~$150

2nd & 3rd tree (pics 3 and 4)
Shishigashira where leaves DO look shishi like. $269.99 – 30% off = ~$189

There’s another tree I forgot to take a picture of, but its a Mikawa Yatsubusa that was ~$230 – $270 (with discount). The tree looked pretty good but wasn’t sure if its worth it. I’ll post a picture in the comments tomorrow.

  1. Good prices for trees that large without ugly grafts, I’d definitely take one home

100% yes on the #1 Shishigashira, that is an absolute steal, you could fund the entire hobby with that!

Definitely a shishi in that first picture. Good prices for the size trees.

Nice! Shishis do great w air layering. You can easily make this a dozen trees in a year.

Oh man, I’d have a hard time not buying all of these. There are actually a couple of kinds of Shishigashira: Meijishi and Ojishi. Ojishi leaves are usually less curled than Meijishi. Still beautiful trees

  6. Oh yeah absolutely. Can barely tell grafted
