  1. This is right on! I have four large heads full of sunflowers I harvested early so the birds wouldn't get them..but not sure what to do with them at this point? I was dreaming of edible sunflower seeds, but a how to video would be great.

  2. Everytime I have harvested it in the green phase to dry, they always go moldy.

  3. Dried sunflowers make pretty indoor decor. I have them arranged in various ways.
    I saved a ton this year! Maybe I will get out the paint and attempt something crafty with them…??

  4. I purposely grow sunflowers to feed my hungry squirrels, birds and possums
    We need to coexist with MAMA GAIA.

  5. Or you could plant enough so you can feed some of nature too there are plenty of native birds and other beneficial species that are A valuable part of the ecosystem too

    Sunflowers do best when you can let them dry fully before harvesting
