From September 26 to October 5, the Muttart Conservatory came alive with Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE, a floral exhibition celebrating Edmonton’s creative spirit through flowers. Local florists were invited to design life-sized mannequins inspired by the city’s arts and culture scene, each one a striking tribute to a local institution or form of expression.

Among the highlights was KWade Customs’ design inspired by the Art Gallery of Alberta, its flowing structure echoing the gallery’s distinctive architecture. Flowers by Merle created a mannequin for the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra that captured the drama and rhythm of a live performance, while Hypnotic Bloom brought theatrical flair to their Citadel Theatre-inspired creation. Even the Muttart Conservatory itself became a muse, with The Camel Studio and HdK Floral crafting pieces that mirrored its iconic pyramids and sculptural forms.
