Seconds to host free clothing event

Seconds store inside the Capitola Mall will host a free clothing event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The two-day event offers free clothing for all ages, styles and sizes, with donations appreciated. A revolving selection of items will be available throughout the day, featuring new pieces added regularly to the large table at the front of the store. Everyone is welcome to browse, take what they need and share in the spirit of community.

LIVE OAK
Rise with the gardeners for early garden exchange

Stop by the early morning garden exchange from 8-9 a.m. Saturday, held at the Santa Cruz Live Oak Grange, 1900 17th Ave. Park in the northern rows of the parking lot away from the building. Gardeners are welcome to bring seeds, bulbs, succulents, houseplants, veggies, fresh flowers, informational material or any garden-related items to trade within the garden community.

The Santa Cruz Garden Exchange is a free event where local residents bring extra garden-related items to give away. No money is exchanged, and participants are not required to bring anything to take part. However, attendees are expected to take home any items they bring that are not given away.

Evening exchanges are on hold until next spring. Early morning exchanges take place the fourth Saturday of every month from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Live Oak Grange. For information, email santacruzgardenexchange@gmail.com.

WATSONVILLE
WatsNaz Church Fall Festival

The Watsonville Church of the Nazarene will host its annual Fall Festival from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at 710 Green Valley Road. The free, family-friendly event will feature games and activities for all ages, candy giveaways, food and live entertainment.

Yoga on the farm

Achieve a state of deep calm and inner peace with Guided by Yoga with Robin at the Cosentino Family Farm, 4977 Carter Ave., Nov. 8 from 9-10 a.m. All you need is a yoga mat and your best downward dog. Robin is a devoted student of yoga and mindfulness, teaching at Village Yoga, Trout Farm and private sessions at Seabright Beach. Her teaching style is sincere, intuitive and lighthearted. Cost is $30 per person. All levels are welcome. Ages 15 and older, please.
