My friend asked me what might be causing this but I don't know enough about growing lemons to answer her question. She has been fighting a scale infestation for a few weeks, but she says they're dying down and she only has to pick off a couple here and there. In the beginning of the infestation she used an alcohol solution to help kill the scale, with manual removal as well, but she hasn't used any alcohol or neem or anything like that in a few weeks. This damage appeared recently. I'll comment or edit to add more info about watering schedule etc, when she gets back to me.

It didn’t upload all three photos for some reason. There was another picture with some leaves that are crispy from the tip to about a third of the leaf.

    Some additional info:

She says she waters about every three days, until “a bit” of water comes out the bottom of the pot.

The leaf tip issue is chloride/fluoride buildup in the soil from not watering heavily enough. Stick the pot in a sink and trickle water for a few hours to flush the soil out.

Hard to tell what’s going on in pic 1, first thought is sunburn spots

Pic 3 just looks like mechanical damage to me
