So over a month ago I got a beauty star and due to an incident with captain jacks and longer story here she's just an extremely healthy rhizome and roots in recovery. I saw one at the store and grabbed it though it was in considerably worse shape than the first one plus mealy bugs
I have started using bonide systemic at half the dose as a preventative for my plants and I was thinking of giving my new quartined beauty star the full dose… but take a look at this!!!
I should probably size her up, yes? I was going to size her down from her store bought pot but I wasn't prepared for this, I was prepared for a mess so I just put her back for now

How often does it need water?
Those are really fantastic. I guess it depends on what it looks like in the pot. I have a handful of plants with roots out the bottom because they are reaching into a reservoir. It’s that a real mushie culture? 👀 it’s beautiful!
