Hi, welcome. My name is Nancy Lee. I garden in Minnesota zone 4B5A. And today I’m going to concentrate on this circle garden. I’m going to tell you what I’m going to do. I am going to remove the dillies. Let me go over here. So, I’m going to divide that ley and I’m going to remove that one and that one cuz this year I did not see a lot of blooms. So, I can I’m ready to plant uh or add some full color. And I’m also going to remove this um cabinets. Oh, sorry. I did add this right now, but I just bought that one. I’m going to add salosia. Let me show you what I I got another salosia here. Added another one here. They’re just in containers. I just bought them right there. And also, let me show you the three moms that I were going to be adding in the front when I remove the cabinets. So, I have those. three months. They’re going to be yellow. Yeah. So, let’s get started. The first thing that I’m going to do right now is uh remove this daily, but then um I will show you how I’m going to divide and I will tell you that this dly was here or it was planted 9 years ago. And I’m also going to remove the cabinets. [Music] Now we’re going to remove uh the catins. I actually have two catins here. [Music] Let me bring this daily back here so I can show you how to divide it. And I’m actually going to divide in two pieces. You can divide it as many as you want. So right now I’m just moving. It’s like a haircut. uh not a haircut but you’re parting like the hair to the side but in this case it’s the leaves to the side so make see that so make it clear so I can see and do a nice cut so I’m just using my shovel I’m dividing this in two again I can keep dividing this in more pieces I can divide in fours six or eights but I just want one daily I’m going to get rid of the other on. So, yeah. Let me remove this. I’m going to keep Yeah, this one is gone. So, I’m just going to keep the other one. And then I’m going to get the the soil ready here, but and also going to cut back the whole dilly. And before I plant this daily, I’m going to add compost. And I’ll show you that in a little bit. [Music] Now I’m going to place these three yellow mums. Um, and I’m actually not going to plant them. I’m just going to dig a little bit of soil and just um place them there. They will be still in their containers. So, I have three. And then I’m going to place uh salosia on each side of that daily just like this. Let me get the other one. Okay. And next, I’m going to remove the other two dailyies. [Music] [Music] [Music] Uh, now I’m going to place the salosias or daily used to be. Like I said earlier, I’m not going to plant the salosas or moms. I’m just going to dig maybe like three or 4 inches underground and just place them there. Cover it again with the soil. [Music] And now I’m going to add water. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Okay, you guys, I’m all finished. Look at that. What a change, isn’t it? The three moms there and that’s a loia. Can barely see the daily lily. Look at that. And then let me show you here in the back. Look at those beautiful salosas. Just beautiful, don’t you think? Hopefully by the time I I get to do the next garden tour, the moms will be blooming and you can see their beautiful yellow color. Okay, you guys, I hope you like this video. Thank you for watching. See you next time. Bye-bye. [Music]
