Its a delicate and sometimes long journey to have a Haw suck up water in a healthy way. Thousands of Haworthia later and I still dont for sure.
Be patient and if its not sucking up water, watering it more won’t help. Then one day, it will. Could inspect the roots if really unsure. Haws drop their roots A LOT for any changes. Though sometimes it just takes time, months even.
Also their are hundreds of different Haworthiopsis, so you may be looking at a different species/cultivar… this is probably most likely here given this specific type doesnt change a whole lot from this. It would open slightly more and give off a little more green in the center though. Probably not what you are expecting.
