a type of nightshade, likely Black Nightshade (Solanum nigrum).

This is the native species American black nightshade, Solanum americanum. Its berries are a favorite snack for birds, who then spread the seeds in their droppings (likely how your plant got there). The plant is nice to keep for them and for pollinators.

    S. nigrum is a related species from Eurasia with larger flowers and longer, narrower anthers which doesn’t grow in Texas.
