    They should ripen relatively well inside. You can pick them and put them on the kitchen counter, or cut the vine and hang the whole thing somewhere inside.

    Fried green tomatoes

    They will take longer to ripen, sometimes they will last all the way to January

    If you have enough, my forever go-to for green tomatoes is green salsa.

    Im with you. We’re about to have a hard frost in a day so I’ve been pulling all mine in. Gonna let them ripen on their own.

    For volunteer tomatoes I always recommend saving the seeds! Those are plants worth growing again!
