I took this photo a few years ago in the south-east of Brazil, but checking here now I realized I never actually identified which species it was.

    In the milkweed family Apocynaceae

    Allamanda. As with most Apocynaceae species, stay away from the alkaloids-laden fruits and sap.

    In Florida we grew them all over our backyard wooden fence. Every memory of being in our pool has lemon yellow allamandas behind it. Now in zone 7A I grow one in a pot that overwinters by a south window. Need my tropical blooms year round.💛
