    Iirc, this is Bermuda Grass that hasn’t been mowed. I use to think they were faery laundry lines, back when I was really little.

    I’ve seen a lot of tall grass, but I’ve never seen this specific type of grass

    Could be windmill grass (*Chloris verticillata*). Crabgrass puts out a similar seed head too, but with less arms.
