My drama queen is definitely Dottie.
I have 5 other calatheas that are perfectly happy in my care. But Dottie… I think she just has a bad attitude.
I found her looking very disheveled and clinging to life. For a while there she was down to 1 leaf and now seems to just teeter on the cusp of 4 leaves before she kills 1 or 2 off again.
She’ll yell “I’m thirsty!” And I leap into action with my watering can and race to her only to have her tell me I was too slow and show me her brown tip.
Is this like having a snooty teenager? Can I hope that one day she’ll thrive on her own, thank me for my efforts and apologise for being a brat??
(Also, please don’t tell her I spoke badly of her. Please 🙏🏽)
