Representatives of state groups shared information for farmers on how to grow their businesses, and Louisiana Rep. Travis Johnson was on hand to help with planting and speak with farmers.
Sponsors for the event included CM Farm Ranch LLC, H.O.P.E. Outreach, Vidalia Walmart, UMB. Tensas State Bank, 4-H SPIN club, Delta Master Gardeners, LSU AgCenter, kingdom Living Ministry and the Concordia Parish School Board.
The Spring Community Garden Day will be held in April 2026.
