The huge new build at Perrywood Garden Centre in Sudbury welcomed its first visitors over the weekend.
Perrywood was granted planning permission for the new build last year, and it is hoped it will become a high-class shopping and leisure destination for those visiting.
It has already attracted thousands of visitors looking to explore the new garden centre and check out its award-winning Christmas shop.
The new build features a spacious retail space, which is designed to offer a wider selection of plants, gardening essentials, and homeware and giftware items.
A new 200-seater coffee shop and restaurant has also been created and it benefits from large amounts of natural light.
The garden centre is well-known for its cafe, which was named among the best in the UK.
Perrywood Sudbury was highly commended in the Greatest Garden Centre Food and Drink Awards 2025.
Earlier this year, the framework for the new garden centre was installed, and the scale of the project was revealed.
