The 2025 Seoul International Garden Expo at Boramae Park will extend its run by two additional weeks, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of fall gardens until November 2.
The decision reflects strong public demand following frequent rainfall that disrupted earlier visits, as well as ongoing enthusiasm for the city’s signature garden event, which has already attracted over 9.29 million visitors since its opening on May 22.
The extended “Curtain Call” period will showcase new autumn-themed displays, including a special chrysanthemum exhibition, the “Boramae Chrysanthemum Tea” tasting event, and other fall programs designed to highlight the season’s colors.
Popular attractions such as pop-up gardens, the Garden Market, food trucks, and guided tours will continue operating, while new seasonal flowers have been planted throughout the park to enhance the atmosphere.
During the extension, the central lawn area will host photo zones and fall flower displays, giving visitors additional opportunities to capture the essence of autumn in Seoul. Most of the permanent gardens, excluding temporary installations, will remain at Boramae Park even after the event concludes.
Cultural programs such as the Boramae Docent Tour, Boramae Autumn Music Walk, and Boramae Handwriting Garden will also continue, along with special weekend experiences like the “Boramae Chrysanthemum Tea Tasting” held over four days.
