Total Backyard Transformation
Here is a backyard that was weedy and uninspired. We designed a backyard do-over that has something blooming every time of the year.
Weeding, installing landscape weed fabric, planting a variety of perennials and bushes, installing irrigation, and finally putting down bark was a big job but yielded a beautiful result!
Hi, this is Karina with Calypso Restoration and uh Smooth Sale and Landscaping. We’re going to transform a backyard today from this to that. [Music] [Music] All right. It’s really important to dig out the clover. It has big roots and ryomes. You’re not being lazy. You guys are kicking. Lucas, stop it. All right, we’re transplanting some things uh and rearranging. We have a blank slate. Blank slate. Nice and weeded. And boys are putting landscape cloth down. I actually didn’t give you my consent. [Music] So, we transplanted this Aelia because it’s nice and big and established. It’d be a shame to let it go to waste, right? Oh, Kai, he doesn’t want me to spray him. God, I’m tempted. He’s going to get me back, though. Starting to plant everything with good compost. And uh I’m placing the plants. [Music] Water everything in really good. Irrigation in as well. Planting, planting, planting, planting, planting. Forgetting to take a video. So, we’re barking everything. Watering everything really good. Putting bark on. Kai keeps planting here on our master planter. Almost done. Here’s the transformation. [Music] [Music]
