Hi there! Looking for a little advice. I got this fiddle roughly 6m ago and it’s been great. I have it right by a south facing window and it’s but four new leaves out in this time period.

About a month ago I started to notice the some of the leaves getting these splotchy brown spots. I read up on it and it suggested over watering but this may sound crazy but I have only watered this plant TWICE in 6 months bc every time I check the soil meter it blasts up to “wet” so maybe the soil has just been to water retentive? There is no pests that I’m seeing. Wondering if it is a root rot issue? I just repotted last night and the soil was damp but I didn’t appreciate an obvious rotted roots. Maybe the fertilizer and nutrients I’ve been using are too aggressive for the plant?

I’ve posted a photo of the leaves and then one how it looks post repot. She’s my favorite so I’m hoping I can keep her alive!
