Found West of Priest River Idaho deep in forest in the Binarch Mtns. I believe they're elderberry as these were present in areas and birds may have picked these and dropped them here as these were not found directly below the elderberry tree.

Ripe grape.
They do look kind of like Western blue elderberry, but it’s hard to get a sense of scale from the picture. What is the size of one single berry? And, did you look inside to observe the seeds?
