CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center has always been a place to lose yourself and this fall, kids can do just that in a festive way.
The annual ‘Hay-Mazing’ adventure is now open, inviting families to explore a creative Halloween maze made up of 150 hay bales. Located off South Staples Street, the maze is a seasonal favorite for many visitors.
The event is made possible by the Ocean Drive Garden Club, whose members have designed the maze each year for the past five years.
“Being out here and having a reason to come to the Botanical Gardens this time of year is excellent,” said Becky Keenan. “It’s in beautiful condition during the growing season, and it’s really quite lovely.”
The fall hay maze is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering plenty of time for visitors to enjoy the fall-themed fun.
