Hello everyone! I just recently purchased a bunch of lithops that felt the firmest and also driest at a local nursery. I live in Singapore where it’s always humid and occasionally has a monsoon period.
I just repotted and re-soiled these babies with 50% lava rocks 40% white pebbles and 10% succulent soil in unglazed ceramic pots. Upon repotting a few lithops lost roots (the nursery pot was mainly soil) but some still have roots intact. The bodies also look a little wrinkled, but not mushy or anything.
Any tips and guidance are appreciated! Especially with watering. I’m acquainted with cacti and other succulents but I know lithops are a different ball game. I was just wondering if anyone can ID my lithops and also their general cycles right now?
Thanks so much! Pls be kind, I am new to this and I want to do my best

First thing I would recommend is to add more of your mix to get it to the top of the pot. They’ll do better with the added air flow. Sounds like you’ve got good pots selected, as long as they have drain holes. After you’re done moving them around, wait 4 or 5 days and give them a light watering to encourage them to put out some new roots. After another week, give them a good soak – fill a container at least as tall as the pot and set the pot in it. Let it sit for a good half hour or more, then remove and let the water drain off. They should plump back up over the next few days. Most of them look very thirsty.
Raise them babies above the rim!

If these are your first ever lithops, I always recommend familiarizing yourself with the five stages of grief 🙂
hello fellow singaporean lithops enjoyer! all the best, our humidity isn’t the best for these guys + the nurseries always put them in soil 🥲🥲
Lovely! My advice is on my video I made last year. 😁 I don’t believe in all the google rules.
