Check out this 12 hour old giant bull calf that I pulled last night. This is the second year in a row that this cow has needed assistance birthing a giant bull calf.

    Yeah, that’s not a good thing. What happens if you aren’t there ? You need to use a different bull.

    She is a roomy cow, she shouldn’t need assistance for a normal presentation.

    Aren’t there occasions of genetic mutations that lead to significantly increased muscle mass?

    Looks a bit like that. Don’t know how to include images or links, but a search should bring examples.

    Never seen one case myself, but know about the occurrence with dogs and bulls.
