I have noticed that overnight some of the leaves of my seedlings are disappearing. Are the springtails in my soil nibbling on them?

Indoor, south facing window, water once a week.

Springtails don’t nibble on plants. They eat organic matter in the soil.

It looks like a great big pot for a very tiny plant. A great big pot with so much soil like that means it can be difficult to control moisture.

They need to be in a much smaller pot, and the pot should have soil all the way up to the top so the plant is not shaded from light by the lip of the pot.
