I never thought I’d say this, but Pamela Anderson’s latest skincare ad may hold the secret of life. Set in a dreamy, sunlit garden, is more of a short film than an ad for Anderson’s skincare line Sonsie. Titled “Pamela’s Rules of the Garden,” the video features picturesque clips of a makeup-free, barefoot Anderson tending to her plants as she goes through the rules she gardens (and lives) by—rules like “no hovering, handle everything with love, and never aim for perfection.” Oh, and, of course, the unspoken rule: always look extraordinarily chic. Why yes, I am frantically scribbling down notes.
Anderson shared the video on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Life is like a garden… tend to it kindly, forgive the weeds, and cherish what blooms… 🍅🥕🌼🧺🌱,” she wrote in the caption.
Anderson rocked a straw hat and a blazer in one look.

Anderson may spend much of her time glamming it up on red carpets, but in recent years, her garden has become her sanctuary. In fact, before her so-called “renaissance” that came with her role in The Last Showgirl, Anderson was quite happy to spend most of her time gardening.
“I don’t know if I kept going, I went home to my garden to make pickles and jams,” the actress said to Entertainment Tonight. “I didn’t know I was going to get this opportunity, so when I got it, I grabbed it by the throat, because I am resilient and I needed to know what I was made of, for me.”
Anderson began the video in a white ruffled dress.

Last year, she celebrated her 57th birthday with an image that showed her potting plants. Anderson also shares numerous images of her garden on her Instagram Stories.
In fact, speaking to us at InStyle earlier this year, Anderson said that her garden is where she feels most at home—and she tries to bring that garden style into everything she does. “My personal style, I would just say, is, you know, I’m in the garden. It’s jeans and a T-shirt. I’m the same glam in my garden as I am on the red carpet. So it’s easy, breezy,” she said.
