🌿 MY DIY STEPS

Step 1: Prep the Area

Clean up the project space by removing any unwanted plants, weeds, and debris to start with a clear foundation.

Step 2: Install Landscape Fabric

Lay down landscape fabric in the areas where you’ll place gravel, broken concrete, or mulch.
Cut holes in the fabric wherever you plan to add new plants.
💡 Tip: It’s generally best to have mulch around planted areas (which means using more fabric overall), but if you’re working with a limited budget, focus the fabric under the gravel sections where they’re them stand out.

Step 3: Add Hardscape Materials

Spread your gravel, recycled concrete pieces, and/or mulch over the fabric, arranging them to create visual balance and define pathways or zones.

Step 4: Add New Plantings

Plant your chosen selections and water them in well.
