I have been totally ignoring my front yard for a .. long time, and finally in the middle of ripping out butterfly plants and putting in some nice stuff and stumbled on this thing.
It’s not part of the irrigation system. Can’t see any visible leads going out or it but it runs deep

Also it’s just soil not a small poop on top, sorry haha

Sewer inspection shaft cover
Sewer cap. That’s where plumbers can access your sewer pipes if it blocks.
Plumbing exploration point? I would have said sewerage overflow, but the screws…
Possibly on an easement connecting to neighbouring properties.
