What’s going on? It’s your boy 6062 niche lawn. Giving you guys a look at the lawn because it’s getting ready to go to sleep. We’re getting ready to put that baby to bed and tuck her in for a long a long long kiss good night. That’s just the way it is. I cut the lawn on Monday. This lawn has not really grown at all. Look at the trees. Look at the leaves on the trees. They get a See that ting yellow? Yeah. It’s getting ready to go night night. Anybody want to go night night? Cuz this lawn is getting ready to go night night. All right. Look at the the leaves on this tree. Got a little yellowing on it. Just t tinge bit coming, but it’s getting ready to go night night as well. We need to make preparation, but we need to also make sure that this is true. We need to make sure that we know the lawn is getting ready to go to sleep, aka dormcy. So, how do we do that? This is my hack. You guys don’t have to do this, but this is what I do. I got a cheap thermometer off Amazon. Meat thermometer. Stuck it in the ground. Right. This is only this this product is only used in the lawn. Zoom in right there. You see that 62 61? That’s your soil temperature. Meaning once it get around 50, a little bit below that, you’re done. You’re toast. Your season’s over with. And the lawn is going to go night night no matter what you decide to do. So, you need to make preparations before all this happens. The first thing I’m gonna do is I’m going to give it a high dose of nitrogen over the weekend, right? Uh high dose for me is going to be like a 2204. That is going to be a slow uh release ura based product. Y’all know I’m a proprietor of ammonium sulfate, but we don’t want this to release fast. We want this to release slow and just feed all winter, right? Also, I’m going down with my pre-emergent. Now, I’m a little late to the party on the pre-emergent application, but I’m not late to the party on actually pre-emergent. Some of you guys aren’t using pre-emergent. We’re gonna make another video this week. Try to make a couple this week talking about this product, but you guys need to get that pre-emergent down. That’s going to pre it before the weeds pre-germinate. It’s going to um create a barrier in the soil to prevent that from happening. And we also like to do that in the winter time here. Um but yeah, go out and check your soil temps. There is apps that can help you do this, but I just rather do it myself cuz this is my lawn and I don’t want the measurement for the entire state. Like, comment, subscribe. Peace.
