I'm notorious for killing plants, so this is my one (1) low maintenance plant. I want this thing to be as healthy as possible.

What might be causing the brown streaks on the stems?

What might be causing a few leaves to go brown?

Is this pot size good?

Any other notes?
A week after watering, the top soil is completely dry but just underneath is still very slightly damp. I've recently added a few thin cardboard strips down the sides of the pot to help retain moisture.
This pothos sits in a window that gets east facing sun. I've had it for around 6 months and it's gotten bigger and longer and seems mostly quite happy. I water every 1-2 weeks and have a bowl underneath that I allow to catch a tiny bit of the water so it lasts longer. I also just fluffed up the soil a little bit. This is the soil it came with, and the pot it came with.
We're also moving soon. Any tips on how to keep it happy during the move? In our new space I plan to give it some help climbing up the wall. Tips for this?
Thanks, everybody. š©µ

I can’t answer every question but:
– The soil looks a little dense. I’d mix in some perlite/bark
– those “streaks” are just where the next leaf has come out of. Mine is brown too but is doing great!
– the brown leaf looks like it got torn/damaged in some way. Maybe low humidity when it unfurled? Unsure
– some leaves look like they have spots, I’d check for pests!
EDIT:
– don’t let it sit in a bowl of water! When the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry, put it in a bowl of water so the bottom of the container can soak up water, let it leak out, then put it back in the decorative pot! Letting it sit in water can cause the roots to rot (same with overly dense soil!)
