Hi. I got these guys in a tiny pot. I repotted them, but I didn’t cut off the roots before I did. I learned that from this sub Reddit.
Should I repot it and cut the roots this time ?
Id leave them alone personally. You’ll get some comments about your soil mix being too organic I’m sure but the pot size looks fine to me.

I will leave the soil free, just be careful with the watering spacing. But why didn’t you bury it more? They are very far from the earth

How tall is the pot? I would definitely put it in a more inorganic mix to avoid issues with rot, but I’ve never worried about trimming roots.

Lithops can benefit from deep pots, at least 4″ deep, as they have very long taproots. i’ve put them in 6″ deep pots and the roots go all the way to the bottom. the other detail, besides the organic content, is how low they are planted in the pot. Lithops will benefit from being planted as close to the rim as practical, this improves airflow and light penetration. in nature, they barely rise above the surface of the soil.
I would never cut the roots; can’t imagine why anybody would. I do worry that your medium is way too organic (unless you live in a desert maybe). But maybe let them settle a bit before making any more changes.
