Could have used this info in September. First frost was yesterday. Trying not to overthink this but is it too late to bother now?
Thank you Luke
Good morning Luke! ☀️Thanks for sharing.
Too late for 5b
Sorry Luke but is this video from a while ago? Shouldn't we be heading near late fall now, why are you still in a t-shirt and everything remaining green and lush?
I'm transplanting my blueberries right now after my first frost should I fertilizes at this time ?? Or is it okay?
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who forgets the fertilizer bag in the rain 😬😂
Good video but since my first frost will be here in a week or two. I wish I would have known this at least a month ago
Had to laugh to see you with that handy dandy red Folgers coffee container because I use them the same way and the smaller ones for birdseed scoops. We haven't bought coffee for years so those containers are a valued commodity here! 😊
If fertilizing in about September it would've been nice to see this video then instead of the middle of October…
Ha! You use the same brand fertilizer container I use 😊
Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
If it is supposed to be 45-50 days before first freeze – I think I am too late. Our weather swings so much that 3 weeks ago it was 85 degrees as a high, now our overnight is 37, and supposed to be less real soon.
I'm in zone 5, Luke…is it too late to hit perennials with Trifecta? We live on Lake Champlain, so it's a tad warmer in winter, cooler in summer. Tempted to just do it :). Thank you for your great info…so helpful!
Looks like a good job for the kids to help. So ya can keep the hands on that wheel lol
Already had my first frost and freeze!
Great info, but we just had our first frost! ugh
Been following you for 5 years and ordering seeds. Need to add some today. If you need us to send larger T-shirts while you regroup the new move….please let us know. 😊
I was always advised not to fertilize perennials in fall but I suppose that just means nitrogen rich ones. It is way too late for me to do this now though it has already frosted and trees are now losing their leaves. Next year I will try this though.
Wish I could have seen this sooner, already had our first frost. You did the same last year with onions, posting after the date you should fertilize by. Please post things like this closer to the appropriate time, and if you can't, save it to next year and post while we can still do something with the information. Our first frost was back in September, it's now middle of October, and we could get snow at any time in WI.
I couldn't love it more that even you have left your fertilizer out to get wet.
Aged manure is my go to. 3 to 4 inches to match the crown In the fall when I can get to it honestly. Wood ash when the notion hits me….
Thanks for the reminder!
Great reminder, thank you! 😊
