  1. I’m so happy you’re going to fill out the gate area with more hydrangeas. It will be stunning!

  2. The children are learning so much from you and Aaron about love, life gardening and humanity. It's awesome to watch your beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your life with us.🤗

  3. That was a fun video to see the family working together. To bad that tree didn’t grow well and Aaron is right take it out but you had a nice one put to hide the neighbors garage can you trim the roses on the fence line is it in the neighbors yard? The hydrangeas will look awesome in the front entrance can’t wait till you have the walkway for the mail put in.

  4. My Flame Thrower® Redbud Tree looks like yours. I planted it in mid July in Texas zone 8a. The leaves are green with brown tips. It suffered during the 90-100 degree temperature, I had to water it almost everyday. I kept telling myself that it will payoff next year.

  5. My neighbor asked me why I plant so closely. She likes plants spaced to see each individual plant. I, on the other hand, love densely planted areas. Maybe this is because I have a small garden and intend to be a plant collector.

  6. With all the foliage, will you eventually cut from your own garden rather than ordering Christmas greenery? So many textures and colors to choose from.

  7. So curious about how you will treat the “wild” branch in the Midnight Express redbud. My kids gave me one for Mother’s Day and it had two extra long branches growing from the top and I’m wondering if I should prune them back.

  8. I love the Apollo Maple. I know it might be looking rough right now, but that tree in a small yard would be fantastic. You’re not gonna get rid of it are you, or just move it somewhere else on the property? I’ve been looking everywhere for one of those locally and haven’t been able to get my hands on one, and I refuse to order by mail. Why don’t I swing by and pick that Apollo Maple from you, I have the perfect spot for it. Hahaha

  9. Sometimes I get amazed at your garden growing, but what’s more amazing is watching your kids grow too. They are so adorable

  10. With all the messing with the DNA of plants happening there is bound to be some messed up DNA. The tree is probably having issues with it's DNA.

  11. I had a hydrangea lean over real bad sometime after planting it last year. Should I fix it now or wait til its dormant? Later fall/spring? I'm in zone 5.

  12. Samantha is a mini Laura for sure. She is growing up so fast. Great family video and a HAPPY one to watch. All of your gardens are gorgeous and I want to thank you for sharing EVERYTHING with us. It proves that everyone has plants to die for whatever reason. Y’all are the BEST 👍😁❤️👏🙏⭐️🐓🍁🌸🪴😻🐝

  13. I'm excited for all the hydrangeas at the front gate! You reminding Samantha not to eat the flower gave me flashbacks to when she was really little and would put everything immediately into her mouth, so y'all had to be extra aware of what you planted and watch her like a hawk 😊 Man, how fast time has flown!

  14. I’m looking forward to a fall tour, with all the changing colors….your sweet girl is going to be just like you, awww……..

  15. I do love hearing the sweet little Samantha's voice, such a great little helper❤
    QUESTION 🌳🌲
how long does it take to ride around your beautiful land in the gator?🌲🌳 Thank you for all your inspirational videos.❤

  16. Laura hi, I am looking at those hydrangeas in the front door and I suggest maybe if you like, you could mix it with those big grasses plants you have in your garden,. It would look amazing to mix them between the flowers. 👍 Just an idea. Love your garden.

  17. Such a peaceful and productive planting day! 🌿 Love seeing the whole family out there everything’s looking so beautiful already, can’t wait to see it all fill in next season! 💚

  18. Laura: we’re starting to run out of spots for big trees. Aaron: I think we should replace these with bigger trees. He’s not wrong, but I laughed a bit.

  19. Loved the video, those Hydrangeas are going to be so beautiful! I had to go back and listen twice was so cute! Did I say treed with a D, gave me such a good laugh! When Samantha was helping and watering I thought wow there's little Laura! Thank you for making the world more beautiful! Love and hugs to your whole family! Jill

  20. I am looking at you plant these new plants in the south garden and I can remember when this was nothing. It would be great to see a time lapse of different areas (maybe a photo of timelapse of when it was bare to now over time). Could be a good video filler for the winter months.

  21. Laura and Aaron, your property looks amazing!
Question for Aaron. Do you still water your lawns, and when will you blow out your sprinklers, and do you blow them out yourself?

  22. Hi Laura & Family, I loved this video. I completely agree about getting plants in the ground before winter; it’s so much less work once they’re settled. With the Apollo maple possibly coming out (I actually thought it was a Slender Silhouette Sweetgum), do you already have something in mind to replace it, or do you prefer to live with the open space for a while before deciding? I planted a fringe tree last fall and thought it could be a lovely option if you don’t already have one. A weeping Katsura tree would also be beautiful; they’re so graceful, and I can just imagine the kids making a hideaway beneath it. Hope all is well! Take care, Steph

  23. Laura, I have been watching your videos since you were in your duplex before the kids were even born. Every time over the last few weeks/ months, they want to know why I didn't like the video. These videos are from 4 and 5 years ago. Is there any way that you can get these videos off or put them in an "old videos" category?

  24. Minnie Me 😊Samantha is growing up so fast. Both of your children are growing up right before our very eyes. It’s so awesome to see them change and to witness their interests develop. Thank both of you for your courage and unselfishness to let us share in this journey with you. In today’s world everyone , “ almost “ are scared of their own shadows. My take on that is to approach life being pro-active “prepared, “ and not reactive “ could a , would a, should a.” which you guys are very proactive with security, and safety. I do think a dog would be an added benefit. They have dogs that are strictly outside dogs that would watch and protect their boundaries and defend their home and loved ones.
