I feel like my monstera is growing really bushy and not very tall. I think she’d like more (direct) sunlight but unfortunately this is the best spot we can do and currently don’t want a grow lamp. Would trimming the lower leaves benefit (vertical) growth? Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated 🙂

cutting leaves does not encourage more growth. to get bigger, more fenestrated leaves it needs more sunlight and something for it to climb upwards. you also have many plants in 1 pot. it will mature much more quickly if you separate the plants out so they don’t have to compete for space and resources.
I think for a low light monstera it’s doing very well. I’d leave all growth so it can utilize every drop of light it can get.
It’s okay for a houseplant to grow smaller or leggy or unique in my opinion because it’s a houseplant and it can tell a whimsical story. it’s all preference. You could get grow lights or let the plant live it’s own unique life in its own unique environment.
You have multiple vines (plants) in there and they will not grow very quickly without more light. They will also possibly grow super leggy because of etiolation and competition for nutrients in the same pot.
Edit: and like someone else said: trimming its leaves will absolutely not make it bushier.
Some great answers here. The newest leaves are splitting, so separating the stalks and also providing a bigger pot will help them continue this growth.
I can’t tell, is it tied/pinned/staked?
