Home Manager Wendy Luck said: “We’re overjoyed to win Best Overall Care Home Garden in Buckinghamshire.
“Once again, families and supporters have come together to transform our garden.
“Led by Annie, whose passion for gardening and resident involvement shines through, everyone has worked so hard.
“ I’m incredibly proud.”
Activities Co-ordinator Annie Sherwin added: “Winning isn’t really about the award – it’s about having a garden where residents can relax, play, and feel proud.
“Our residents love it, whether they’re watering plants, playing ball games, or enjoying an ice cream in the sun. The family day was a highlight – it truly showed the community spirit at Sir Aubrey Ward House.”
The home runs gardening sessions every weekday after breakfast, where residents help with planting, watering, and weeding to keep the space flourishing.
