A friend gave me this huge cutting! I’ve read so many articles on water propping vs just sticking the cutting in soil, leaving it whole Va chopping into individual plants. Guess I figured I would come here and see what everyone has to say. 🙂 This is my first time getting a cutting directly from the plant that hasn’t already been in water, so frankly, I have no idea what to do! Help me please!

You can leave it like that, or chop between nodes. Find a vase that will be heavy enough to keep that from tipping over. Trim back some of those roots just enough to fit in the bottom of the vase. Water prop it! It will root fast
I would go with LECA for ease of watering when it gets huge.
it has great aerial roots to beginn with, i would use leca/pon and a mosspole but thats just my preference. Get a nice chunky soil if you prefer that more.
I would do leca hydro and transfer to leca semihydro later when it outgrows the jar.
