I’d wait till more hairs turn, lil extra cold could boost trichromes too

  2. Juicyjenn73

Yes but u can always wait a lil longer but if u are impatient of course now is good 🥰

The way you tell is usually a macro lens to take pictures where you can see individual tricombs so to evaluate how many are clear, milky or yellow.

I am not impatient, I will just be leaving town for a week next week, I was going to harvest one and bit the other in my shed (which has a skylight)
Should I put both in the shed, not sure what low temps look like next week.

Use a pocket microscope to see what ratio of trichomes have ambered. Maybe harvest when 10% are amber. More amber = more couch lock.

They are well enough established to get a little rain

I’d try to give another couple weeks if you can

I know nothing of plants, what is this and what are you harvesting from it?

I would leave them for another week or until more pistils turn brown.

NGL, that’s one ugly-ass plant. If I had one of this I’d probably just burn it. But not all at once.

Looks like my Chile Verde pheno!

Buy a jewelers loupe to look for yourself.

In a pinch though you can use your phone but you gotta set it up so it’s full zoom and set it down somewhere so it isnt shaking.

Harvest the flowers as they are ready instantes over the next several weeks.

You’ll get decent advice here, but I think /r/trees might be more the resource you are looking for.

I’m outdoor too. PNW zone 8. Too dark for pictures now, sorry. Yours looks good but needs more time. The weather will help you decide. I’ll leave them out as long as possible. I’m smoking last year’s crop.
