Hi guys. I got this at petco, it was some live plant mix from josh's frogs. One of the little plants in it died a day after I got it but the other one looks okay
As for the moss, I tried looking it up but can't find the exact species. I think generally it says it needs indirect light and to be wet but not too wet
I'm using it for vampire crabs. I have tired several other types of moss and they all keep dying. I have some Christmas moss I think is still alive but other than that have had terrible luck.
I have 2 crab tanks right now and I am setting up a larger one right now so I wanted to use this moss. Any advice or other tips?
I have it in a snake tank right now but im worried it might be too bright and hot idk if I should move it to a windowsill or something. The tank just has cheap leds from Amazon but they're bright enough for a spiderwort plant and a snake plant and some other plants I forget the species

This looks like a type of fern moss, possibly delicate fernmoss. It likes its rhizomes to have near constant access to water, which makes it great for paludarium setups. When you make your vampire crab tank, try attaching it to a piece of wood that’s partially submerged in water or some other mechanism of wicking water, like sphagnum moss or hygrolon or something. It seems to really thrive with low light and high humidity as well.
