Does anyone know what kind of succulent this is? My dad passed away about a month ago and it was his. Out of all his plants he was most proud of this one, so I just want to make sure I continue to take care of it properly. Thank you!

It looks like it is from the Jade family???? I’m new to this but it looks like it may be a “Crosby Jade”.
And I’m very sorry for your loss. 🫶🏼

It’s definitely a Jade!
Just don’t know which specific one. I have the same one.
Also sorry for your loss. Losing a parent isn’t easy 🥺🥺

Hummels Sunset Jade, I think

I’d be proud of it too. That’s a beautiful succulent and your dad did a great job of raising it.

RIP. I’m sorry for your loss. This is a beautiful jade.
Place it in your absolute sunniest location. Water only when the leaves are easily bendable but don’t wait until they are wrinkly.

Probably crassula ovata. Slightly stressed, that’s why the reddish leaves. Beautiful specimen and easy to propagate.

Crassula Ovata “Crosby’s Compact” dwarf jade. I have several different types of jade plants including a couple of these 🥰

Had no idea I’d be finding grief support within the succulent community today lol thank you everyone for your kind words & care tips. It was very comforting to read everyone’s comments on how great of a job my dad did raising this jade and even made me a little emotional. He would’ve been so surprised and flattered to read everyone’s comments 🥹💚
