It is an echevaria, also known as the desert rose succulent. It started off shorter and more compact, but now it is stretching out. I don’t think it is strictly because of growth. Why is it growing like this?
It’s called etiolation! It just means the plant is trying to reach for more light haha 😀 hope this helped!

It’s stretching for light. While I see you have it on a windowsill, the plant is not receiving nearly enough direct light to grow compactly. Keep it on a south facing window and rotate it weekly, and if you have no south facing windows provide supplemental light via a lamp or grow light. Also, echeverias are a succulent but the plants commonly known as desert roses are adeniums.

or simply is too high and need to be supported with stick or something.

It wants more light! I would support it with a stick and soft Velcro, then place in a South facing window! Your phone has a compass on it, just in case if you didn’t know 😊 also, when did you water it when you took this picture?

Because it needs full sun and it isn’t getting it.
